Christmas generates so much waste and my biggest grievance is advent calendars.  I have loved having advent calendars but every year since I was an early teen, I noticed how much waste they cause for such a tiny bit of chocolate!
So if you are like me and want to have a more sustainable Christmas, why not knit your own mini stockings? Hang them on a tree, hide the, round the house or a mantle, wherever you put them they will catch an eye and be a great conversation starter.
