Is crochet the right skill for me?
I would recommend crochet if you have a very busy lifestyle. Whether you are a full time parent, worker or both, sometimes finding time to just sit and do something for 10 minutes is impossible! Crochet is a craft that you can easily pick up and put down without getting too lost with what you are doing. Granny squares in particular are extremely repetitive which makes it easy to learn the skill and you can see your progress far quicker than knitting. so if you have a busy lifestyle then I would recommend to learn to crochet to help you find some mindfulness as well as create something colourful with calm and confidence.
