About Arthur

November 2021, we welcomed our son Arthur into our little family.
During my time on maternity leave, picking up my knitting needles was impossible! But as Arthur grew, I was able to pick them back up again and after spending some time at home whilst being off work I threw myself back in my knitting.
Arthur's Knitting Business was generated when I couldn't find a specific knitting pattern for a jumper. After lots of research, I decided to try to write my own pattern and although it was one of the most stressful work experiences of my life, it was one of the most rewarding.
Seeing my little man in the jumper I not only made, but designed, made me feel so incredibly proud and inspired to continue pattern writing.
Arthur's Knitting Business has already grown from an online Etsy store front to an in-person workshop based in Witney, Oxfordshire.
My workshops are for all types of knitters whether you are an absolute newbie or the most experienced with workshops ranging from; Introduction to knitting, to Introduction to Sock knitting.
